You'll handle check-ins, bookings and questions at a boutique guesthouse in Isando. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

Home base is a boutique guesthouse on the Isando side of Gauteng.

• Book shuttles, dinner reservations and game drives for guests.
• Answer booking emails and calls, and quote rates from the rate sheet.
• Run the night audit, close the day and print the flash report.
• Allocate rooms and pass early check-ins to housekeeping.
• Balance your cash float and card slips before handover.

• Calm with an unhappy guest at 11pm
• Honest with cash and card payments

• You can work rotating shifts, including nights
• Confident on a computer and quick to learn a property system
• Clear spoken and written English

• Amadeus or Galileo training for travel roles
• Revenue or yield management exposure

• Night-shift allowance
• Service charge share at some properties
• Paid system training in the first month
