Job Description

Shrinkage hurts every electronics store; in Bloemfontein, you would be the one tracking it down. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

This post is in Bloemfontein (Free State). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

What you'll actually do

Attend court as a witness when a case goes to trial
Help with stock counts and point out loss hot-spots
Share trends with the store manager each week
Detain suspects lawfully and call SAPS, then write a statement
Search staff bags at exit points according to store policy
Review CCTV footage to confirm suspected theft

You'll need

Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4
Discreet, observant and honest
Able to handle confrontation calmly
PSIRA registration, Grade C at least
Good report writing

Nice if you have

Previous store detective experience with case outcomes
Experience giving evidence in court
