Every order that leaves this spares and hardware warehouse in Boksburg passes through your hands first. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

You'll be based at a spares and hardware warehouse in Boksburg. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin

• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves

• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate
• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner

• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals

• If you have done any stock counts, packing or even shelf work before, list it first. It shows you already know how to handle stock.
• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
