Returns Processing Hand

This is steady, physical warehouse work at a building-supplies depot in Richards Bay, and nobody minds if it's your first job. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

The site is in Richards Bay; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off

• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred

• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate
• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner
• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment

• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season

• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
