Trucks, drivers, loads and deadlines all meet on your screen at a bus and coach operator in Khayelitsha. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Home base is a bus and coach operator on the Khayelitsha side of Western Cape.

• Compile daily reports on trips completed and late deliveries
• Update customers on delivery times and delays
• Phone drivers when trucks stop too long or go off-route
• Arrange breakdown recovery and replacement vehicles
• Plan daily loads to use full truck capacity

• Clear on the phone with drivers and customers
• Matric
• Knowledge of South African road freight regulations
• At least 2 years in transport or logistics

• Transport management system (TMS) experience
• Logistics or supply chain certificate
• Knowledge of cross-border documentation

• Growth to transport manager
• Training on the fleet and tracking systems
• Cellphone allowance for standby shifts
• Office-based work with a steady roster
