Job Description

Your pipeline, your territory, your commission: that is the deal at this office equipment supplier in Bellville. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

This post is Bellville-based, with most of your time spent at an office equipment supplier.

The work, day to day

Log every lead, meeting and deal stage in the CRM.
Work with operations to hand over new clients smoothly.
Negotiate contract terms, rentals and service-level agreements.
Respond to RFQs and tenders with complete supplier packs, including B-BBEE certificates.
Chase overdue accounts with the credit department before they grow.
Attend trade shows and industry breakfasts to meet buyers.
Forecast monthly sales and report pipeline value each Monday.

Must-haves

Solid presentation and negotiation skills
2 or more years of business-to-business sales with a proven record
Matric plus a sales, marketing or technical qualification
Resilient enough to handle long sales cycles and rejection
Confident with Excel, Outlook and a CRM
Valid driver's licence and your own reliable car

Extra points for

Tender and CSD registration experience
A technical trade or engineering background for sales engineer roles
