Sales Rep (Beverages, Code 08)

You'll cover a route of stores around Paarl, selling in stock and fixing shelves as you go. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

This post is Paarl-based, with most of your time spent at a beverage distributor. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
• Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.

• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• Matric
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets

• A sales or marketing certificate
• Speaking two or more local languages

• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts
• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Product samples and staff pricing
