Sales Rep (Beverages, Code 08)

You'll cover a route of stores around Benoni, selling in stock and fixing shelves as you go. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

The site is in Benoni; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
• Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.
• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.

• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting

• Existing relationships with independent retailers
• A sales or marketing certificate
