Job Description

Shelves sell the product, and at this pet food manufacturer you'll keep them full, neat and priced right. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

This post is Epping-based, with most of your time spent at a pet food manufacturer.

What you'll actually do

Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.
Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.

What you need

You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles

Helpful, not essential

Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
Existing relationships with independent retailers
Speaking two or more local languages
