Job Description

Officers look to you on every shift at a hospital complex in Montague Gardens. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Home base is a hospital complex on the Montague Gardens side of Western Cape. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

What your day looks like

Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
Meet the client weekly on security concerns
Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
Do surprise night visits to check posts

Must-haves

PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
Firm with staff but fair and consistent
Matric, with a security management course a plus
Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
Available after hours for emergencies

Helpful, not essential

Own reliable vehicle
Mining or hospital security experience
