Security Area Manager (Night Rounds)

Step up from guarding into supervising on a guarding contract across several sites in Rustenburg. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is Rustenburg-based, with most of your time spent at a guarding contract across several sites. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
• Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
• Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
• Do surprise night visits to check posts
• Meet the client weekly on security concerns

• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
• Available after hours for emergencies
• Firm with staff but fair and consistent

• Management training for growth to operations manager
