Job Description

A security company in Somerset West wants a firm, fair supervisor for its hospital complex. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

You'll report in Somerset West. Relocation is not covered for this one. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

The work, day to day

Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
Meet the client weekly on security concerns
Investigate incidents and write reports for the client

What you need

PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
Firm with staff but fair and consistent
Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
Available after hours for emergencies
At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
