Security Dispatcher (Armed Response)

You'll watch the screens and radios at a vehicle tracking control centre in Secunda, and send help the moment something is wrong. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll report in Secunda. Relocation is not covered for this one. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Hand over open incidents clearly at shift change
• Report camera faults and offline sites to the technicians
• Talk down intruders over on-site speakers when the system allows
• Track stolen vehicles on the map and guide recovery teams
• Keep call-out times and client passwords up to date

• PSIRA registration, Grade C or higher
• Computer literate and quick on a keyboard
• No criminal convictions (vetting is done before you start)
• Matric

• Indoor, air-conditioned work environment
• Shift allowance for nights
• Path to senior controller or supervisor
• Training on the monitoring software

• Mention any software you have used: alarm monitoring, CCTV or even call centre systems. Control rooms need people who learn screens fast.
• Show you can stay alert at night. If you have done night shift before without problems, say so.
