Security Operations Supervisor (Retail Portfolio)

A security company in Epping wants a firm, fair supervisor for its mining operation. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

The work is in Epping, Western Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
• Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
• Meet the client weekly on security concerns
• Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
• Do surprise night visits to check posts
• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries

• Available after hours for emergencies
• Firm with staff but fair and consistent
• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor

• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles
• Management training for growth to operations manager
• Provident fund and funeral cover
• Cellphone allowance
