Security Operations Supervisor (Retail Portfolio)

You'll run a shift of officers at a retail portfolio in Pietermaritzburg, keeping posts covered and standards high. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is Pietermaritzburg-based, with most of your time spent at a retail portfolio. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Meet the client weekly on security concerns
• Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
• Do surprise night visits to check posts
• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills

• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• Firm with staff but fair and consistent
• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites

• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles
• Cellphone allowance
