Job Description

Officers look to you on every shift at a guarding contract across several sites in Pretoria East. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

This post is in Pretoria East (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What your day looks like

Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current

You'll need

Available after hours for emergencies
Matric, with a security management course a plus
Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)

Extra points for

Computer skills for rosters in Excel or a workforce app
Own reliable vehicle
