Security Site Supervisor (Grade B)

You'll run a shift of officers at a retail portfolio in Fourways, keeping posts covered and standards high. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

You'll be based at a retail portfolio in Fourways. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
• Meet the client weekly on security concerns
• Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours

• PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor

• Labour relations or basic supervision course
• Computer skills for rosters in Excel or a workforce app
• Handgun competency for armed supervisor posts

• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles
• Management training for growth to operations manager
• Cellphone allowance

• Mention how you handled absenteeism or roster gaps. It is the biggest daily headache for security companies.
• If you have been upgraded through the grades, show the progression. It proves you grew on the job.
