Security Site Supervisor (Grade B)

You'll run a shift of officers at a retail portfolio in Germiston, keeping posts covered and standards high. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll be based at a retail portfolio in Germiston. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
• Meet the client weekly on security concerns
• Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
• Do surprise night visits to check posts
• Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows

• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
• Available after hours for emergencies
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Firm with staff but fair and consistent
• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites

• Handgun competency for armed supervisor posts
• Mining or hospital security experience

• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles
• Cellphone allowance

• Management training for growth to operations manager
