Senior Payroll Officer (Group Companies) – Fixed-Term

You'll run weekly and monthly payrolls for a labour-heavy mining contractor in Roodepoort, from clock data to bank file. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll report in Roodepoort. Relocation is not covered for this one. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Release the salary bank file for authorisation
• Run weekly and monthly payrolls and check the variance reports
• Import clock-card data and check overtime against approved hours
• Calculate leave pay, notice pay and final pay under the BCEA
• Compile bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations and issue IRP5 certificates

• At least 2 years of full-function payroll
• Comfortable with Excel reconciliations
• Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
• Matric plus a payroll certificate or diploma
