Job Description

Behind every correct payslip at this farming enterprise in Gqeberha is a careful payroll person. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Home base is a farming enterprise on the Gqeberha side of Eastern Cape.

The work, day to day

Import clock-card data and check overtime against the BCEA limits.
Submit the monthly EMP201 on SARS eFiling and pay PAYE, UIF and SDL.
Capture new hires, terminations and changes on Sage 300 People or VIP.
Process garnishee orders, loans and third-party deductions.
Declare UIF on uFiling and assist staff with UI-19 forms.
Answer staff payslip queries clearly and in private.

You'll need

You triple-check figures before anything is paid
Hands-on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
Trusted with confidential salary data
SARS eFiling and EMP501 reconciliations without supervision

Helpful, not essential

Bargaining council levy and wage-rate experience
Multi-company or multi-country payroll exposure
