Senior Payroll Practitioner (Multi-Company)

This security services company in Kuruman needs someone who knows payroll tax and SARS inside out. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

The work is in Kuruman, Northern Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

• Answer staff payslip queries clearly and in private.
• Submit the monthly EMP201 on SARS eFiling and pay PAYE, UIF and SDL.
• Keep payroll files and banking details secure under POPIA.
• Capture new hires, terminations and changes on Sage 300 People or VIP.
• Calculate leave pay, notice pay and severance on terminations.

• At least 2 years running a full payroll end to end
• Strong Excel, especially VLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Matric plus a payroll, bookkeeping or HR qualification
• Hands-on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay

• Bargaining council levy and wage-rate experience
• Multi-company or multi-country payroll exposure
• ETI claim experience

• Medical aid and retirement fund
• 13th cheque
• Hybrid work outside month-end week

• Be ready for a practical test calculating PAYE and overtime; take a calculator you know well.
