Senior Python Developer (Data Platforms)

Write clean code, review pull requests and fix what breaks at an insurance company software team in Krugersdorp. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

The work is in Krugersdorp, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Pair with junior developers to unblock them
• Investigate production bugs using logs and monitoring dashboards
• Write, test and refactor code in your team's main language
• Build and consume REST or GraphQL APIs
• Document how your features work for support and new developers
• Write unit and integration tests before you merge

• Stable internet and a quiet workspace for remote days

• Good SQL and understanding of relational databases
• You can explain technical choices to non-technical people
