Service Advisor (Commercial Vehicles) – Experienced

Book cars in, find the right part and keep customers informed at the multi-brand service centre in Cape Town CBD. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

Home base is a multi-brand service centre on the Cape Town CBD side of Western Cape.

• Load bookings in the dealer management system
• Open job cards and explain the work and cost before it starts
• Book in vehicles, walk around with the customer and note existing damage
• Invoice completed jobs and explain the invoice at collection
• Handle complaints calmly and find a fix with the workshop manager

• Good working knowledge of car parts and basic vehicle systems
• Calm and polite with customers, even when they are upset
• At least 2 years as a service advisor, parts interpreter or in a similar counter role
• Computer literate with a dealer management system or parts software
• Accurate when capturing part numbers and prices

• Paid brand training
• Commission on parts sales or workshop turnover
• Company uniform
