Job Description

Officers look to you on every shift at a residential estate in Tembisa. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll be based at a residential estate in Tembisa. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What you'll actually do

Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
Do surprise night visits to check posts

Must-haves

Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
Firm with staff but fair and consistent
Matric, with a security management course a plus

Helpful, not essential

Own reliable vehicle
Labour relations or basic supervision course
Handgun competency for armed supervisor posts
