Job Description

You'll keep the site legal and the workers safe for the road construction project in Lephalale. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Home base is a road construction project on the Lephalale side of Limpopo.

What you'll actually do

Inspect scaffolds, excavations and edge protection daily
Hold toolbox talks on topics that match the week's work
Prepare monthly safety statistics for the client's agent
Run site inductions for every new worker and visitor
Check that fall protection plans are in place for work at height

You'll need

SACPCMP registration as a Construction Health and Safety Officer
Good understanding of the OHS Act and Construction Regulations 2014
SAMTRAC or an NQF-accredited health and safety qualification
First Aid Level 1 at least
