Stock Packer (Distribution Centre)

Every order that leaves this building-supplies depot in Potchefstroom passes through your hands first. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Home base is a building-supplies depot on the Potchefstroom side of North West. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count

• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves

• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate
• Basic computer skills for capturing counts

• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
