Night fill, weekends or month-end rush, a township shopping centre store in Germiston needs extra hands. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

The work, day to day

Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager

You'll need

Neat appearance and punctual
Polite with customers and happy to help
Grade 10 or matric
Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
Basic reading and maths for price checks

Nice if you have

Own transport for route merchandising jobs
Some till or cash-handling experience
