Store Assistant (Night Fill)

Night fill, weekends or month-end rush, a hardware and building store in Klerksdorp needs extra hands. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

This post is in Klerksdorp (North West). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
• Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
• Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
• Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
• Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
• Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled

• Neat appearance and punctual
• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Grade 10 or matric
• Basic reading and maths for price checks

• Own transport for route merchandising jobs
• Being 18 or older for liquor store roles

• Paid training in store procedures
• Staff discount on groceries
• Chance to move into till or department roles
