Job Description

You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a wholesale cash-and-carry in Montague Gardens, so shoppers find what they came for. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll report in Montague Gardens. Relocation is not covered for this one. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

The work, day to day

Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
Collect trolleys from the parking lot

Must-haves

Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
Polite with customers and happy to help
Able to stand and lift cases all shift
Basic reading and maths for price checks
Neat appearance and punctual
Grade 10 or matric

Helpful, not essential

Own transport for route merchandising jobs
Some till or cash-handling experience
