Job Description

When a panic button goes off in a mixed-use neighbourhood in Boksburg, you are the one who arrives first. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is in Boksburg (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

The work, day to day

Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs
Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details

What you need

Clean criminal record and no pending cases
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
At least 2 years in guarding or response
Calm under pressure and physically fit
