Tax Manager (Accounting Firm) – Entry Level

A financial planning practice in Bellville needs a tax practitioner who knows eFiling inside out. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Location: Bellville, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

• Advise on deductions such as retirement contributions and home office claims
• Register clients for income tax, VAT and PAYE
• Check SARS assessments and flag errors to clients
• Prepare and submit ITR12, ITR14 and ITR12T returns on SARS eFiling
• Prepare VAT201 returns and review input tax claims

• Working knowledge of the Income Tax Act and VAT Act
• At least 2 years of SARS eFiling experience
• Comfortable handling tax season overtime
• Registered tax practitioner with a recognised controlling body such as SAIT or SAIPA

• Postgraduate diploma in tax
• Experience with trusts, estates and capital gains tax
