Territory Sales Representative (Hardware Stores)

This pet food manufacturer needs a rep in Burgersfort who knows the shops, the owners and the numbers. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

You'll be based at a pet food manufacturer in Burgersfort. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
• Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.

• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience

• Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
• A sales or marketing certificate

• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts
• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Product samples and staff pricing
• Cellphone and data allowance
