Territory Sales Representative (Hardware Stores) – Immediate Start

Out on the road for a snack and confectionery wholesaler in Midrand, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

You'll be based at a snack and confectionery wholesaler in Midrand. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
• Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
• Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.
• Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.

• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• Matric
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves

• Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
• A sales or marketing certificate

• Cellphone and data allowance
• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts
• Branded uniform and safety boots
• Product samples and staff pricing

• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
