Territory Sales Representative (Hardware Stores)

This pet food manufacturer needs a rep in Worcester who knows the shops, the owners and the numbers. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

You'll report in Worcester. Relocation is not covered for this one. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
• Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
• Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.
• Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.

• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience

• Speaking two or more local languages
• Existing relationships with independent retailers

• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Cellphone and data allowance
• Product samples and staff pricing
• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts
