Job Description

You'll run weekly and monthly payrolls for a payroll bureau in Roodepoort, from clock data to bank file. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a payroll bureau on the Roodepoort side of Gauteng.

The work, day to day

Answer staff payslip queries clearly and in private
Run weekly and monthly payrolls and check the variance reports
Declare UIF on uFiling and help staff with UI-19 forms
Release the salary bank file for authorisation
Process garnishee orders and third-party deductions

You'll need

Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
Comfortable with Excel reconciliations
At least 2 years of full-function payroll
