Job Description

Payday is sacred, and at this farming enterprise in Randburg you'll make sure it lands right. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is Randburg-based, with most of your time spent at a farming enterprise.

What your day looks like

Run the payroll, check variances and get sign-off before cut-off.
Process garnishee orders, loans and third-party deductions.
Capture new hires, terminations and changes on Sage 300 People or VIP.
Import clock-card data and check overtime against the BCEA limits.
Reconcile medical aid, pension and provident fund schedules.
Submit the monthly EMP201 on SARS eFiling and pay PAYE, UIF and SDL.
Answer staff payslip queries clearly and in private.

What you need

Strong Excel, especially VLOOKUP and pivot tables
Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
Matric plus a payroll, bookkeeping or HR qualification
You triple-check figures before anything is paid
SARS eFiling and EMP501 reconciliations without supervision
