Tracking Control Room Agent (Vehicle Recovery) – Experienced

Night or day, a remote video monitoring centre in Bellville never switches off, and neither does your focus on shift. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

The work is in Bellville, Western Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Track stolen vehicles on the map and guide recovery teams
• Log every event and action on the monitoring software
• Answer alarm signals and phone clients to verify them
• Pull and save video footage for incident investigations
• Dispatch the nearest response vehicle over the radio

• Computer literate and quick on a keyboard
• Clear speaking voice on radio and phone
• Good memory for sites, streets and procedures
• PSIRA registration, Grade C or higher
• Able to stay focused through 12-hour day and night shifts
• Matric

• Call centre work in the past
• Experience on a CCTV or alarm monitoring platform
• CCTV operator short course

• Indoor, air-conditioned work environment
• Shift allowance for nights
• Path to senior controller or supervisor
• Training on the monitoring software
