Job Description

Sharp eyes and a calm voice are the tools of the trade at an armed response control room in Burgersfort. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

You'll report in Burgersfort. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What you'll actually do

Talk down intruders over on-site speakers when the system allows
Report camera faults and offline sites to the technicians
Track stolen vehicles on the map and guide recovery teams
Log every event and action on the monitoring software
Pull and save video footage for incident investigations

You'll need

Good memory for sites, streets and procedures
No criminal convictions (vetting is done before you start)
Matric
PSIRA registration, Grade C or higher
Clear speaking voice on radio and phone

Nice if you have

Experience on a CCTV or alarm monitoring platform
CCTV operator short course
Call centre work in the past
