Job Description

You'll answer alarms across a farming district in Tzaneen in a marked vehicle, armed and ready. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Home base is a farming district on the Tzaneen side of Limpopo.

What you'll actually do

Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook
Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end

You'll need

At least 2 years in guarding or response
SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
Calm under pressure and physically fit
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving

Extra points for

First-aid Level 2 or 3
Advanced driving course
Knowledge of the local streets and sectors
