Job Description

You'll plan the loads and watch the trucks for a distribution depot in Brits, keeping every trip on time. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Home base is a distribution depot on the Brits side of North West.

What you'll actually do

Arrange breakdown recovery and replacement vehicles
Keep a register of PrDP and licence expiry dates for all drivers
Compile daily reports on trips completed and late deliveries
Book vehicle services, licence renewals and roadworthy tests
Capture trip sheets, fuel and toll costs on the system

What you need

Calm and decisive when things go wrong
Matric
Good with Excel and email
Knowledge of South African road freight regulations
At least 2 years in transport or logistics
Able to work shifts in a 24-hour control office

Extra points for

Experience on a vehicle telematics platform
Transport management system (TMS) experience
