Job Description

Get off the road and into the control office at a distribution depot in Pretoria West. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a distribution depot on the Pretoria West side of Gauteng.

What you'll actually do

Arrange breakdown recovery and replacement vehicles
Assign trucks and drivers to routes and track them on telematics
Keep a register of PrDP and licence expiry dates for all drivers
Check driver hours so nobody drives too long without rest
Update customers on delivery times and delays

Must-haves

Able to work shifts in a 24-hour control office
Calm and decisive when things go wrong
Matric
At least 2 years in transport or logistics

Extra points for

Transport management system (TMS) experience
Logistics or supply chain certificate
