Trolley and Parcel Assistant – Immediate Start

Shoppers in Stellenbosch judge a neighbourhood supermarket by its shelves, and that is where you come in. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
• Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
• Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
• Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
• Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
• Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle

• Able to stand and lift cases all shift
• Polite with customers and happy to help
• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Grade 10 or matric

• Own transport for route merchandising jobs
• Previous shelf packing or merchandising work

• Chance to move into till or department roles
• Travel allowance on merchandising routes
• Paid training in store procedures
