Truck Loader (Night Shift)

Delivery days start early in Kuruman, and a cement and brick yard needs you on the bay before the trucks roll. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

This post is Kuruman-based, with most of your time spent at a cement and brick yard. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
• Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop
• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count

• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• No criminal record
• Friendly with customers at the door
• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
• Willing to travel on routes that return late

• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Uniform and safety shoes provided
