Job Description

Shrinkage hurts every fashion retail store; in Randburg, you would be the one tracking it down. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

Home base is a fashion retail store on the Randburg side of Gauteng.

What you'll actually do

Attend court as a witness when a case goes to trial
Search staff bags at exit points according to store policy
Detain suspects lawfully and call SAPS, then write a statement
Review CCTV footage to confirm suspected theft
Help with stock counts and point out loss hot-spots
Walk the floor in plain clothes and watch for shoplifting behaviour

What you need

Knowledge of lawful arrest and search under the Criminal Procedure Act
Discreet, observant and honest
Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4
Available for retail hours including month-end weekends
Able to handle confrontation calmly
Good report writing

Extra points for

Experience giving evidence in court
Understanding of stock systems and shrinkage reports
