Job Description

You'll catch shoplifting and stock losses at a retail distribution centre in Rosslyn before they cost jobs. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Home base is a retail distribution centre on the Rosslyn side of Gauteng. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

The work, day to day

Walk the floor in plain clothes and watch for shoplifting behaviour
Share trends with the store manager each week
Check receiving bay deliveries against invoices and seal numbers
Attend court as a witness when a case goes to trial
Detain suspects lawfully and call SAPS, then write a statement

What you need

Discreet, observant and honest
Available for retail hours including month-end weekends
Knowledge of lawful arrest and search under the Criminal Procedure Act
PSIRA registration, Grade C at least
