Job Description

Out on the road for a pet food manufacturer in Cape Town CBD, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Home base is a pet food manufacturer on the Cape Town CBD side of Western Cape.

The work, day to day

Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.
Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.

What you need

Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
Matric
Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners

Extra points for

Existing relationships with independent retailers
Speaking two or more local languages
