Van Sales Rep (Snacks & Confectionery) – Permanent

Out on the road for a beverage distributor in Tembisa, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Location: Tembisa, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
• Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
• Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.

• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles

• A sales or marketing certificate
• Speaking two or more local languages

• Cellphone and data allowance
• Product samples and staff pricing
• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts

• Name the areas you know and the store types you have serviced (supermarket chains, independents, spazas) in your CV summary.
• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
