Voice-Picking Warehouse Assistant – Immediate Start

This is steady, physical warehouse work at a pharmaceutical warehouse in Cape Town CBD, and nobody minds if it's your first job. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll be based at a pharmaceutical warehouse in Cape Town CBD. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off

• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• South African ID or a valid work permit

• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate
• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse
• Basic computer skills for capturing counts

• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation

• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
• If you have done any stock counts, packing or even shelf work before, list it first. It shows you already know how to handle stock.
