Voice-Picking Warehouse Assistant

Pick it right, pack it neat, send it out: that's the job at a pharmaceutical warehouse in Kimberley. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

The work is in Kimberley, Northern Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor

• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts

• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate

• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
