Voice-Picking Warehouse Assistant – Entry Level

You'll keep a busy online grocery fulfilment hub in Newcastle stocked, picked and moving out on time. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

This post is Newcastle-based, with most of your time spent at an online grocery fulfilment hub.

• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets

• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season

• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate
• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse
• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment

• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
